Outfit: witchy
velvet dress: ebay velvet leggings: Forever 21 cardigan: Sparkle & Fade boots: Sheikh ring: ebay
I was feelin' a bit witchy when I wore this. It's been cold, grey, and rainy out lately. We've had a couple sunny days sprinkled every other week or so, but it's mostly icky. On this day, I visited the Portland Art Museum with my friend Steph. It's always a neat place to roam, but I was pretty sad that my favorite piece ever, City 0000 by Mike Kelley, was gone. On the bright side, I got to see a Roy Lichtenstein painting! He's been one of my favorite artists since middle school, so it was neat to see one of his pieces in person!

Outfit: birthday
shirt: Spoiled dress: asos tights: H&M shoes: Anarchic bow: Fuego
Yesterday was my 24th birthday, and it was absolutely wonderful! Steph, Andrew and I picked up some yummy coffee from Java Mama, then headed to SE Portland for lunch at the Mac and Cheesery. For dessert, we hit up the always wonderful Saint Cupcake. I had to go to class for a couple hours, which I really didn't mind doing on my birthday, since it's my favorite class ever! Afterwards, Andrew's mum picked us up for a delicious dinner at Stanfords, complete with birthday creme brulee! Then we relaxed at home with some Doctor Who episodes. Altogether, it was a lovely birthday!
And it's exciting that I still have my birthday party next week to look forward to! Even more exciting: my wonderful fantastic amazing mother's birthday gift to me is: MY ROCKET SHIP TATTTOO. I've been thinking about it and wanting it for a long time, and I am ecstatic that I can finally get it!

For my birthday party in a couple weeks, I'm asking my friends to dress up as "an astronaut, space cadet, alien, glitter-queen space-princess, sci-fi character, future person, time lord, sith lord, robot, or any other being one would find on a spaceship in the future". I haven't figured out my own costume yet, but I love all of the looks above. I'm definitely leaning towards something shiny or holographic, and I assure you there will be glitter. lots of glitter. SPACE GLITTER.

Outfit: lavender&mint
cardigan: frenchi tank: H&M skirt: Forever 21 tights: Target shoes: Report brooch: my shop
This was a fun outfit I wore the other day. I picked both the cardigan and skirt up from Plato's closet this week, so they were pretty cheap! The cardigan is so sparklyyyy in person. It makes me happy.
Life has been pretty busy lately. Mister Andrew and I have been rearranging and reorganizing our apartment. We tackled the office this week, which was quite the project. I now have my computer desk right under the window, so I can soak up more sunlight. Tomorrow, we're headed to Ikea and Target to buy some new goodies, like towels and sheets. Because apparently adults replace those every now and then? and we're adults?? Something like that.
Other than that, my 24th birthday is coming up on Monday! I'm having a party, but I scheduled it a couple weeks out, since I have midterms and other stuffs going on this next week. My party is going to be space/future/sci-fi themed and I'm turning my apartment into a space ship! I'm really looking forward to it.
I also just started planning a eurotrip with my friend Steph. There's much planning and plotting to be done, and I'm so very very excited about it! If anyone has ever visited Europe, and has tips on how to do so cheaply, or where to stay/visit, I'm all ears!

January in Review
Steph and I bought these adorable miniature-dessert kits from Uwajamiya. Unfortunately, we can't read Japanese, so we had to guess at the recipe. The cake turned out lovely, while my doughnuts were just a pathetic pile of gooey dough and icing. They both tasted pretty awful!
Frozen spider webs. It was pretty cold here in the beginning of the month, but we never got our snow day that usually comes in January.
Re-organized my game nook. For some reason, it makes me so happy to re-arrange things and have them all neat and nice and pretty and organized.
Orange Creamsicle Cake! My mom introduced me to this wonderfully amazing recipe, where you can take any cake or brownie mix, and replace every single ingredient (but the mix) with one can of soda. It's so simple and it tastes oh-so-good! We made cherry-cola brownies too! Yum.
